The now famous Uhuru twin, Michael Njogo Gitonga has come clean after reportedly acquiring a posh KSh 15 million sleek ride yesterday.

It all started with a rare photo of him going by his daily hustle shared online before going viral, as netizens urged the President to crosscheck that he didn’t have a lost brother somewhere he did not know about.

Days after he became an Internet sensation, the guy from Gatundu seemingly acquired a brand new Lexus 2016 edition from Maridady Motors as a gift.

All he needed was a striking resemblance of the Commander-in-Chief, no sweat, nothing! His luck!

Mr Michael responds
Now addressed as ‘Uhunye’ in Nairobi’s Umoja estate, Mr Gitonga’s photos while in the fuel guzzler yesterday, has caused him nothing but trouble, raising eyebrows among Kenyans.

Responding to the claims, Michael Njogo denied being the proud owner of the 4-wheel drive, instead clarifying:

Fellow Kenyans, hii kitu watu wanasema nimepewa gari, hiyo ni uongo tupu! I am still in the house social distancing, nimetulia sina gari. Watu waache kudanganyana waongee ile ukweli iko.

A representative from the motor dealership, told a local publication yesterday that Mr Gitonga had actually visited the yard on August 12 intending to purchase a car.
